The N-Boat 1 is an innovative autonomous sailboat, constructed based on a 1-meter-long Monsoon model sailboat. Numerous modifications were made to the sailboat's hull to accommodate a microcontroller and a battery in a watertight compartment created in the bow. In addition, a weather vane was installed at the top of the mast to measure wind direction.

Regarding the onboard electronics, the initial version included an Arduino Mega with a GPS shield.

Over time, the sailboat evolved and was equipped with an Arduino Mega, IMU, a GPS shield, and an analog multiplexer, which allowed radio control and external communication.

In its latest update, the N-Boat 1 was fitted with a Pixhawk, an open-source flight controller, which comes standard with GPS and communication capabilities.

Unfortunately, the project had to be halted due to internal space limitations. Moreover, the requirements for sheltered waters and light winds also proved to be constraints, negatively impacting the progress of the project.
