Call for Contributions

You are cordially invited to participate by submitting your work in all areas of Computer Graphics, Image Processing and Computer Vision, but not limited to, the topics listed at the About SIBGRAPI link.

Contributions should be in one of the following categories ("author's instructions" and more detailed descriptions are given in the respective links below):

  • FULL PAPERS scheduled as oral presentations and published in the Proceedings as two-column, 8-page papers, in English. Submission will be electronic. Proceedings will be published by IEEE CS Press.

  • TECHNICAL POSTERS presented in a special session and published as two-column, 2-page papers, in English.

  • TUTORIALS about classical or timely topics, from elementary to advanced, consisting of three to six hours of lectures with printed notes (20-30 pages), in Portuguese or English.

  • WORKSHOP OF THESIS AND DISSERTATION PhD and MSc students may submit their ongoing work in English or Portuguese, to be evaluated for presentation. We expect this to be an unique opportunity for graduate students to receive important feedback on their work from the scientific community.

  • WORKSHOP OF UNDERGRADUATE WORK undergraduate students are encouraged to submit the results of their scientific works in English or Portuguese, to be evaluated for presentation.

  • FRONT COVER IMAGES generated by computer graphics or image processing techniques, to be printed on the front cover of the SIBGRAPI 2005 proceedings.
    Submission is open at https://submissoes.sbc.org.br/sibgrapi2005

  • VIDEO FESTIVAL generated by computer graphics or digital video processing
    techniques to be presented in a special session.

  • WORKSHOP DE TV DIGITAL E INTERATIVA: O I Workshop de TV Digital e Interativa visa reunir diversos profissionais e pesquisadores relacionados ao tema ou interessados por conhecer diversos aspectos desta nova área. O tema em destaque para o workshop é “produção de conteúdo para a TV Digital”, mas serão aceitos trabalhos que não estejam diretamente relacionados ao tema, mas sim ao tópico TV Digital e TV Interativa.
