REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
The registration is now
open, please register as soon as possible so you can get better
discounts. Early period: by July 29, 2005.
Read the instructions
carefully before filling out the on-line form:
- Please note that at least one author
per paper must register at a non-student rate with full
payment received into SIBGRAPI account by July 29, 2005
(required only for submissions as full-papers or technical
posters). Otherwise the paper will not be included in
the SIBGRAPI proceedings and technical program. If all
the authors on a paper are certified as students, then
a student rate registration will be accepted.
- Students must send a proof of student
status. Fax a copy of an official letter from the Department/University
to the Symposium Secretariat. Fax: +55 84 3215-3738.
- SBC member rates are only applicable
to individuals who are members at the time of registration
- visit http://www.sbc.org.br
to join.
- Registration fee for professionals
includes one hard-copy of the proceedings, CD-ROM and/or
DVD-ROM of the workshops and posters, welcome cocktail
(at Hotel Praia Mar) and coffee breaks and brunches. Student
registration fee includes everything but the hard-copy
of the IEEE Proceedings, which can be added as extra.
- The registration fee does
not include tutorials, t-shirts or banquet ticket,
which can be added to the registration form as extra.
- The banquet will take place at Hotel
Praia Mar.
- The tutorials will be held on October
09, 2005. Tutorials T1, T2 and T3 will take place in parallel
and in the morning (9:00-12:00). Tutorials T1 will continue
in the afternoon in parallel with T4 and T5. More information
about the tutorials are available on the symposium tutorial
page.
- Registrations will be confirmed upon
payment.
- Registration fees are are expressed
in "Reais" (Brazilian currency). R$ 1,00 is
equivalent to approximately US$ 0.40.
- Payment using VISA credit card is
accepted only for foreign participants. You must send
the authorization form (available in the registration
form below) by FAX +55 51 3316 7142.
- Brazilian participants must perform
the payment by "Boleto Bancário".
- Cancellation policy: refunds for
emergency cancellations must be requested in writing before
September 12, 2005 and will be processed at 75% of the
paid registration fee. No refunds after September 12,
2005.
